The 2022 Cadillac XT5 is a versatile and stylish SUV with plenty of performance features to keep drivers and passengers comfortable.
All-wheel drive is available for the first time on the 2022 Cadillac XT5. The standard engine is a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder that produces 237 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque. It's paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission.
A 3.6-liter V6 engine is also available, producing 310 horsepower and271 lb-ft of torque. It's paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission.
The all-wheel-drive system has been updated for the 2022 model year and now includes Active Torque Vectoring. This system helps improve cornering grip and stability by applying slight braking to the inside front wheel when cornering.
Chassis and Suspension.
The 2022 Cadillac XT5 has a new chassis that's been stiffened in critical areas to improve handling and ride quality. The suspension has also been retuned for better comfort.
Active Sport Suspension is available as an option, and it features continuously adjustable dampers that can stiffen or soften the ride depending on driving conditions.
